Join us for a full-day immersion in practice, study, and devotion on August 15, led by Isha Das, Spiritual Director of the Assisi Institute in Rochester, NY, Swami Nirvanananda of Italy, and Chris Knuth.
Isha Das will offer teachings from his new book, From Merchant to Mystic: The Hero’s Journey of Saint Francis of Assisi, exploring how Saint Francis’s transformation parallels the Kriya Yoga path. Chris Knuth will lead a session based on his book, The Unadorned Thread: A Contemporary Commentary on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, offering practical insight into Patanjali’s timeless teachings.
Throughout the day, participants will receive instruction in Paramahansa Yogananda’s Energization Exercises, along with ample time for group meditation. The day will conclude with a special evening kirtan concert led by Swami Nirvanananda in the outdoor amphitheater.
